Not at all!
Whilst we will be providing prizes for our more competitive runners looking to hit a PB or zoom around the course, we know the majority are here for a good time, to meet new people, try something new and achieve a personal goal.
The only prerequisite is that you complete the 5km and 10km within 2hrs the kids mile must be completed within 25mins.
Entry into one Race.
Before the race, each runner will pick up a bib number which contains your running chip. Times will be uploaded to the website within seconds(!) of you passing the finish line.
During the race, there will marshalls on hand to offer encouragement and point you in the right direction.
Each runner will receive a medal, piece of fruit and some water after completing the race/course.
Our race photographer will take photos of the races and will be available to download for free post event.
The Junior Dash is aimed at children/athletes between the ages of 4-15.
Each child will be entered into an age and gender category: 4-7years, 8-11years and 12-15 years. There will be prizes for the top 3 in each category.
The 5km Dash is open to anyone over the age of 15 (15 year olds have the choice of which race to enter). We will have prizes for top 3 male and female runners as well as category prizes for over 40s, over 50s and over 60s.
A fun run is a non-competitive, community-oriented running event sometimes held to raise money for charity. Fun runs prioritise enjoyment and participation over speed and competition. Whilst we do have prizes fro our winners and category winners. Every Athlete will receive a medal upon completion to reward the effort put in.
Absolutely! If you want to run round with your child, please do. We understand that this can be intimidating for our first timers or younger atheletes.
If you are running with a child, you do NOT need to a purchase a ticket, you can run for free. Only the children participating need tickets. Parents will not receive a medal, but can help themselves to water and snacks.
Yes! We will be making charitable donations after each race to a charity. However you can set up your own charity page and run for a charity using Just Giving for your chosen chaarity. Please do let us know how much you raised and for which charity.

Your entry is fully refundable up to 4 weeks before the event date. After this point, event costs will have been committed by the organiser and entries become non-refundable.
If the organiser needs to cancel the event due to insufficient registrations, a full refund will be issued, provided the cancellation occurs more than 4 weeks before the event.
Participants may request a refund at any time up to the 4-week deadline.
